<itunes:subtitle>Take one part cheesy, technicolor superhero, mix in a healthy dose of dreary color palette, add a dash of Brando and a hint of Crowe, what do you have? Two very different Supermen.</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary><![CDATA[I don't think this is what Nietzsche had in mind when he wrote about super men, but this is certainly what modern audiences think when they hear that term. I don't know that we've covered two so radically different interpretations of a single character like this before. Donner shows us just what sort of vivid, overly optimistic, and kitschy symbol Superman was in the 70s. He puts together a cast that has... well, they're doing fine with what they have, but I think all of them have done better. Then Snyder looked at that, took a drink of his Code Red Mountain Dew, tilted his trilby (NOT A FEDORA) forward, and typed "edgy" into his Livejournal as he proceeded to take almost everything from Donner and do the opposite. What is it like to go from a crazy color palette to, uhh, 50 shades of brown in the same character's pantheon? I'll tell you, it's not great.]]></itunes:summary>

Well, we've actually asked that multiple times on this show, but this time it's an action sci-fi epic: PREDATOR! We'll talk about unnecessary bicep shots, Topher Grace, not having time to bleed, and Danny Trejo's many cinematic deaths.
